Shirley F Tucker

Shirley Faye Tucker, 72, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at her home with her family at her side. A native of Moultrie, GA she had made Tallahassee her home in 1959. Shirley had worked for Stafford Jewelers and was retired from the State of Florida, Department of Labor. She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gene Tucker, daughters, Belinda Tucker, Debra Allen and Wendy Jackson who welcomed her mother into heaven, a sister, Ann Griner, two brothers, Bobby and Charles Griner, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011 at Culley's MeadowWood Timberlane Road. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday in Culley's MeadowWood Timberlane Road Chapel with burial to follow in MeadowWood Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. Tallahassee, FL 32308.

We will cherish the memory of our Mom sitting in her swing, sipping her coffee and watching the birds.
