Sandra Rhodes Neel

The wife of William C. Neel and daughter of the late Bricey M. Rhodes, M.D. and late Eunice Elizabeth Burns, Sandra was born on May 26, 1937, in Tallahassee, Florida.

A lifelong resident of Tallahassee, Sandra graduated from Leon High School in 1955. Sandra obtained a Bachelors of Science degree, Cum Laude, from Florida State University where she was a proud member of the Chi Omega sorority. Sandra retired from her Executive Assistant position at the Florida Department of Management Services, Bureau of Building Construction in 2001. Sandra was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother and was passionate about spending time with family and friends shopping, catching up or simply talking about The Old Days.

Preceded in death by her parents: Dr. Rhodes and Betty; survivors include her husband: Bill and her sons: Brian William with wife Kay and Charles Bricey with wife Jill; three grandchildren (Charles): Jacob, Sydney and Raegan; and her brother Bricey M. Rhodes, Jr (Martha Ann).

We will gather together to celebrate and remember Sandra's life at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home on Riggins Road, Saturday, December 9th at 2:00 PM.
