Rosemary Joan Amiss, aged 90, surrendered her Spirit peacefully to Jesus on December 20,2014 at her home surrounded by family. Rosemary was born March 4, 1924, in St Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Harry W. Wahlert and Flora Krey Wahlert. She is also preceded in Death by her husband Edmund L. Amiss II, and her son Edmund L. Amiss III. Survivors include her 11 children, Michele Griffin, Harry Amiss, Tisha Fletcher, John Amiss, Steve Amiss, Tom Amiss, Adrienne Sutton, David Amiss, Andrea Young, Susan Amiss and Richard Amiss. In addition, she is survived by 3 Son in Laws, 2 Daughter in Laws, 19 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. At a young age, Rosemary very much enjoyed going to the Movies and throughout her life she took great pleasure in playing the piano and reading a good book.She loved the Lord and delighted in worshipping him whenever she was able. One of her greatest joys in life, without a doubt, was spending time with her entire family. Rosemary was dearly loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014, 2:00pm at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with viewing one hour prior to services, followed by burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
