Roger Bass

Roger enjoyed being a mechanic and the many challenges that came with it. Roger had a big heart, he was always ready and willing to help anyone in any way he could at the drop of a hat. He loved his kids and grandkids very much.

He worked for CSX railroad as a mechanical engineer for 40 years. Roger was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Tallahassee.

He is preceded in death by father, Arthur R Bass. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Teresa Bass and his children Greg Bass (Stephanie) of Thomasville, GA and Heather Culpepper (Ryan) of Tallahassee, FL, as well as his 4 granddaughters: Natalie, Olivia, and Layla Bass and Katelyn Culpepper. He is also survived by his mother, Beatrice, and step father, Buford Feagle, his 4 sisters: Inez, June (Bill), Cheryl (Tim), and Clarice, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Roger will thoroughly be missed by his beloved yorkies Livvie, Oliver, and Piper.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at Culley's MeadowWood at 11 a.m. followed by a Gathering of Family of Friends at noon.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to hospice or the American Cancer Society.
