Bob was born in Norfolk, VA, on July 16, 1949 to William and Margaret Raynor. He graduated from Seminole High School in Stanford, FL, in 1964, and studied architecture at the University of Florida. Bob dedicated over 30 years to the Florida Department of Education, where he served schools all over the state of Florida by working with the code compliance division.

Bob married his college sweetheart, Beth, in 1971. Together, they raised two children, Alan and Laura. He could be found most Sunday mornings running the sound system for the services. He will be remembered for his warmth, his generosity, and his eagerness to help anyone who needed it.
Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beth Raynor (nee Owens), their children, Alan (Wendy), and Laura Miller (Jim); his grandchild, Lucy; and his brother, Tommy Raynor (Sandy).
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret, and his sister, Ellen Munday.
