Robert W. Crow

Bob was born on December 21, 1933, in Tarpon Springs, FL and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday 1942.

Following graduation from Tarpon Springs High School, he worked for the Bank of Dunedin. He later worked for Tallahassee Bank and Trust Company, Southeastern Financial Computer Services, and retired from the City of Tallahassee as Assistant Director of Information System Services.

Bob served in the Florida National Guard (Infantry 3rd Division) for 7 ½ years, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of North Florida Baptist Church since 1969. He was an active member of the Tallahassee Camellia Club and maintained a large camellia garden at his home.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Crow and Ruth Alice (Peterson) Crow of Palm Harbor, FL, loving wife of 58 years Dorothy “Dot” Crow, and son Robert W. Crow, Jr. He is survived by his children Barbara (Jay) Linton, Janice (Steve) Elyea, David (Debbie) Crow, and Brenda (Scott) Davis. Survivors include grandchildren John Paul (Sara) Linton, Amy Crow, Danny (Ashley) Linton, Rachel (Devon) Diaz, Joshua (Rachele) Crow, Rebecca (Britt) Wynn, and Michael Crow. Also surviving is one brother Edward (Sara) J. Crow of Valdosta, GA.

Visitation by family and friends will be at Culley’s Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, FL on Thursday, January 31, 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 1, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at Culley’s 700 Timberlane Road.
