Richard A. "Dick" Schremp (Retired Major US AF), passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2012.
Dick is survived by his wife Margarette of Beacon Hill, FL; a daughter, Jan Strickland (Larry) of Panama City Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Todd Foreman, Mark Foreman, and Robin Webster; and eight great- grandchildren; three step-daughters, Sherry Willis Herring, Debra Willis, and Jeannie Willis Evans.
Dick entered the US Army Air Corps in 1940, graduated US Army Air Forces Pilot Training in 1943 and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. He served in Europe with the 8th Air Force flying B24 bombers in 1943-44. He served in Europe in 1946, 1952-55 and 1961. Dick served at numerous American bases until he retired in 1963. From 1963-70, he taught at the US Naval Academy. He was employed by the State of Florida until 1987. He had lived at Beacon Hill since 1992. He was an avid lifetime hunter and fisherman.

Funeral Services will be held today (Friday May 25, 2012) at 2:00 p.m. from Culley’s MeadowWood Timberlane Chapel 700 Timberlane Rd, (850) 893-4177. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
