Priscilla (Pat) Hilda Stevens of Tallahassee, FL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 22, 2022. Pat was born at home on November 30, 1934, in Racy, Michigan to Rev. Lloyd and Helena Richmond (Egts). She will be dearly missed by her four children, Diane (Alan) Mellinger, Douglas (Carol) Stevens, DeLynn (Sam) Coppoletti, and David (Kathryn) Stevens; her sister, Sharon VanConant; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Edwin Stevens; her parents Rev. Lloyd and Helena Richmond; sister Rhoda Cripps; brother James Richmond; and daughter-in-law Cheryl Stevens.
Pat’s passion was to be a loving mother and wife and to live out and share her faith in Jesus Christ. She loved people and frequently entertained guests and opened her door to those in need of encouragement, prayer, or counsel. She earned her BA degree from Spring Arbor College and worked at the Red Cross, Project Now, and the Rock Island Arsenal for 12 years. She was a charter member of 2 church plants and volunteered for The Pregnancy Resource Center, Illowa Christian Women, the Gideons, and was a member of the Daughters of the Holy Cross and St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
UPDATE: Due to hurricane Ian, the memorial service for Priscilla Stevens has been postponed to Friday, October 14th at 2pm at St. Peter's Anglican Cathedral located at 4784 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Gideons or your local Pregnancy Care Center.
