We're deeply saddened to share that Nick Schenesky, age 43, from Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on April 14, 2024. He brought warmth and love into so many lives, leaving countless cherished memories in our hearts.
Nick was the beloved son of Hank and Dee Schenesky, born on July 22, 1980, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He filled the roles of son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend with a heart full of kindness and compassion. He was a beacon of shining light, radiating warmth and compassion to everyone he encountered.
Most recently, in his professional life, Nick worked tirelessly in the medical supply field as a Machine Operator. Before this, he held various retail positions that let his warm, outgoing personality shine. His dedication to his work life reflected his desire to positively impact the world and uplift others.
Beyond work, Nick found joy in various hobbies. An avid gamer, he spent countless hours hanging out in virtual worlds with his closest friends on Xbox. He also had a passion for movies, swords, and dragons, collecting and cherishing them with great enthusiasm.
Nick was known for his generous spirit and selflessness. He would gladly give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and never hesitated to offer support and assistance to those around him. His empathy knew no bounds, and he cared deeply for his family and friends, always ready to lend a listening ear or a comforting embrace.
His boisterous laughter and reassuring hugs will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a unique ability to hold you just a little bit longer during a hug, offering solace and comfort in times of need.
Nick was a sports fan, cheering passionately for the Cowboys, Braves, and Notre Dame. His love for sports brought him joy and camaraderie, connecting him with others who shared his passion.
While Nick's departure leaves a profound void in our lives, he is now reunited with cherished family members who passed before him, including his grandparents, Nick and Mim Albano, his father, Hank, and his sister, April. Though we mourn his loss deeply, we find comfort in knowing that he is embraced in eternal peace among loved ones.
Nick's memory is treasured by his surviving family: his devoted mother, Dee; his sister, Sheila, and her husband, Tommy; his Aunt Debbie; his uncles, John, Keith, and Jimmy; and their spouses. He also leaves behind nephews James and his wife, Chelsea, Kirk, Levi, and Rook, as well as his niece Ashley and her husband Christopher. Nick's cousins, Jazz, Anna, Precious, Scott, Sean, Bobby, and many others, share our collective grief.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Nick's remarkable life at Culley's Meadowwood Funeral Home & Memorial Park on April 17, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be sent to Shriner's Children's Hospital, a cause close to Nick's heart.
Nick's absence leaves a palpable void, but his spirit and the memories we shared will forever remain with us. May his legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire us, and may he find eternal peace. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
