Michael Anthony Watkins

Michael is survived by his mother, Guadalupe Zarate of Crawfordville, Fl ; wife, Pamela Watkins of Mayo, Florida; daughter, Monica Watkins-Capeau; step-children, Charles Underwood and James McDaniel; grandchildren Angel Cheeks, Gracey Locker, Braxton and Emma Underwood; siblings, Bobby Joe, Joann and Victor Watkins and lots of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Bobby Joe Watkins Sr.

Michael was born on September 3, 1965 in Dallas, Texas to Guadalupe and Bobby Watkins. In April of 1985, he welcomed his daughter. He moved to Florida in October 1995. He married Pamela Watkins on July 4, 1998. After moving to Florida, Michael began working for Harvey Tile as a tile setter. Later, he decided to start his own tile business, WATKINS TILE .

His children remember him as a kind, gentle & patient father and grandfather who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Michael accomplished at hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a generous, dedicated individual who loved the ocean and fishing.

A visitation is scheduled for December 29th, 2022 from 3pm to 5 pm at Culley's Meadowwood Funeral Home - 1737 Riggins Rd. Tallahassee, Florida 32308. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Michael's life. The family would like to thank caregivers, hospital staff and family for their care and dedication.
