All who knew her though her to be a kind, caring, and gentle soul. Her family, friends, and faith were the most important things to her and she devoted her entire life to them. She loved unconditionally and treasured time with her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She always went out of her way to help anyone in need and never said an unkind word about anyone.
She was born in 1932, in Geneva County, AL. She lived the majority of her life in Fort Walton Beach, FL, until moving to Tallahassee in 2010 to live with family.
She was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Walton Beach for over 58 years. Even when her health caused her to move to Tallahassee to live with her daughter, she still considered Trinity to be her family in God. She worked at Eglin Air Force Base for over 30 years as an executive secretary winning many awards for outstanding service.
She led a full life, was loved by all, and will be missed by many. She is now reunited in heaven with the family and friends who have gone before her.
She is survived by one son, Michael Bath (Leslie) of Tallahassee; one daughter, Terri Speed (Tal) of Tallahassee; two grandsons, Collin Bath (Christi) of Hoover, AL; and Garrett Speed of Tallahassee; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Caylin Bath of Hoover, AL; one brother, Ray Jones (Anne) of Cumming, GA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents, William and Fronnie Jones of Coffee Springs, AL; one sister, Nita Bryan; and four brothers, Ruben, Archie, Adolph and Clayton Jones.
