On January 31, 2024, Meredith succumbed following a courageous two year struggle with multiple medical issues. Heaven's gain is our great loss.
This little angel was brought into this world on December 11, 1975 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She, and her sister, Heather, spent the next thirteen years learning, laughing, and playing with a host of friends up and down the block of their Richmond, Virginia, home. Her calendar was full of birthday parties, school and church (St. Edwards Catholic Church) gatherings. It was a joyous time. In 1988 the family moved to Tallahassee where she attended Maclay, Lincoln HS, and TCC. She was a member of the Lincoln band.
Meredith wed Robert F. Brown on August 23, 2003 at Wakulla Springs Park. They worked in Tallahassee eventually settling in Havana, Florida.
Meredith, from birth, was a "Turner's Syndrome girl". Once in Tallahassee she became part of a group of other young people who also were Turner's patients. Through this widespread group she developed many great relationships as they met regularly and provided mutual support. She counts Turner's friends as family.
Meredith is survived by Robert, her husband and by Jon and Connie Hill, her parents. She is also survived by her loving older sister, Heather Hill of Ponte Vedra, Florida. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida, 32312. Donations to the Turner Syndrome Society would be appreciated. Go to their website and click on "donate".
