Lisa and I sure gave Kay a run for her money when we were in high school, but no matter how much trouble we got into together, Kay always welcomed me into her home as if I were one of her own. She took us shopping countless times and always kept us fed. She came to visit me after I had each of my babies and always brought me chicken and dumplings which was my favorite. She is so loved and will be very missed.

Chocolate chip cookies, warm coco on the patio, back rubs late in the nights, playing at your feet while you cook, countless laughter and fun; I'm flooded with all these memories with you. You have been my Grandmother, Mother, and best friend. I love you so much and miss you dearly!

There are so many memories because I’ve known Kay my entire life.  She started as a neighbor, and then became a friend that turned into “family”.  I will always remember Kay with a smile because she was always happy to see you and always greeted you with her wonderful smile.  She loved clothes and when I was little I thought she had the most clothes than anyone else in the world!  She gave me my first “live” baby doll (Lisa) and the closest thing to a big sister (Tracy) I could have when I was little.  I remember losing a tooth doing wonder woman spins in their living room.  I remember running home in the early morning and leaving their front door wide open.  I was blessed to know such a lovely lady who was a positive part of my life every day for the first 11 years.  I will remember her for the love and care she had for her family and friends - She set the bar high for what a neighbor and friend should be! Xoxo

I am so very lucky to have shared so many amazing Christmases, spring breaks, trips to Crystal River and so many more memories I will carry with me forever. To the small moments like ordering all the desserts off the room service menu to getting to spend a week of last summer with you, every moment shared was so special and I’ll always remember your never ending unconditional love. I couldn’t have asked for a better nana to brighten my life and being so much love and happiness into my life every single day. I love you to the moon and back.

To my beautiful nana... god truly blessed me giving me a nana like you. Everything you did was filled with so much love. One of my earliest memories was when I was super little, and you wrapped me up in my pink blanket and rocked me in your office rocking chair. I will always cherish all the memories we have made. One of my favorite things we would do was get in your big comfortable bed and watch Hallmark movies, eat gummy bears, and drink ginger ale together. I miss you Nana and I love you so much. You have made this world a better place and have inspired so many. I love you forever and always💛

Aunt Kay was the most generous and elegant lady I have ever known.  May God be with her family at this trying time.  She will be dearly missed. 

We here at The Marsh in Minnetonka MN send our deepest condolences to Tracie and Mary Kay's entire family.  We will miss this sweet woman immensely!  This lady was pure sweetness , light and kindness!  As word spread throughout The Marsh of Mary Kay's passing, hearts were crushed and tears flowed.  Mary Kay made all of us who worked here pause, smile and compliment her contagious positive outlook.  If she didn't come up to you here at The Marsh it wasn't unlikely that you would be drawn to her and strike up a conversation.  She was a beautiful lady who had a soul that you just wanted to meet!  We'are so glad she loved The Marsh the way she did, we're all better for knowing her.

Did you know that It was partially because of Kay that Dean and I are together today? She thought he was such a fun and nice guy when he danced with Kay and Mary at studebaker’s. 
We had such a great time!
When Our son, Ian, was born, Kay was the first person in the room and was the first to hold him after Dean - at 7:30 in the morning. 

There is going to be a hole in our world without Kay in it.

Kay, Thank you for all you’ve done for me! I can’t imagine what it was like to have an almost teenage daughter when you were 20 but you did. You made sure that the Christmas that Ray was in service that we still had a very nice Christmas. You played Santa by getting up in the middle of the night and wrapping a stuffed long snake around the tree. I loved that and we laughed about it through the years. You taught me about makeup and tried to make me more feminine. 
One thing I do know is that you loved your husband. While he was in service you would brag so much about him. Your friends, Juanita and Pat would tease you by saying, “He’s not Jesus, you know”. You thought he walked on water! I love that.  
Thank you for all that you did for me while I was growing up and even while an adult.

Kay,  I am so glad I answered your ad for someone to drive you to your doctors' appointments.  We hit it off right away.  I will always remember you as a very loving, caring and generous friend who loved her family above all.  We became close friends in a short time and I will miss you. Kay always had a special place in my heart. She was so important during my high school years. I felt like family going to her house. I especially loved the food and Christmas celebrations. I have fond memories of us at the beach too. You will be missed greatly. Love you.

Kay, you are gone but never forgotten. Meeting you at The Marsh in Minnetonka, MN, when you visited Tracie in 2018, was an honor. You were always gracious and kind, I always looked forward to our daily chats. We shared life stories and also a common bond of being afflicted with arthritis.

When I was  Twenty one  I went  up to Tallahassee to visit  Aunt Kay and Uncle Ray. I was going through   a very   bad time  in my life.  I remember Uncle Ray and Aunt  Kay's compassion  .It was a a trip that would bring  a special  place in my heart .She understood what I was going through .Me and  Aunt Kay had been riding  around in the car  .Aunt  Kay  started showing  me all around Tallahassee ,where she first got her job and how her and uncle Ray started out . Telling me stories about her child hood   .And about her life .Diane,Tracie,Lisa .She smiled at me beaming. This was Aunt Kay ,very warm  and  loving  .Aunt Kay said to me you know Racheal  I am still in love with your  Uncle Ray.She said you can love someone but there is a difference,   when your in love with that person .I said Aunt Kay your still  in love with Uncle Ray like when you were young.Yes Racheal  .I remember laughing and smiling and looking at Aunt Kay and thinking my Aunt is cool!  I love you Aunt Kay .My thoughts and prayers go too my family at this time.love your niece Racheal.

Aunt Kay, you will always be in our hearts and in our stories.  There are so many good memories to talk about.... from Thanksgivings and Christmases (where you always made my favorite dish), Easters, FSU weekends, ski trips, beaches (especially the Breakers- manner school trip), your extra cherries...

Kay, we met at the perfect time. You and Ray were so kind, caring, and sharing your life with us as well as many other friends. ❤ Our Saturday shopping and lunches were so much fun. We shared many stories. Our time together was so meaningful to me as well as my family. We shared it all - happiness, sadness, and had many laughs. Our beach trips to Destin were special because we could forget about work. We shopped, swam, sunbathed, and enjoy delicious seafood. 
You are loved and will be missed by me and my family. 🌾

One of my favorite memories of Kay was our Fourteen day trip to Alaska. We did so many wonderful things. Saw many beautiful sights in the cold and rain but that’s Alaska. We enjoyed every single day of our cruise. My favorite memory was the day we were invited to have lunch in the room with the Captain because of the number of cruises I had taken. Kay told everyone that she was invited to have a special lunch with the Captain and that she took me as her guest. It was her first cruise!

I have so many fond memories of Kay.  She was my first mentor.  I will cherish the time I spent with her forever.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family as they say goodbye to their loved one.  Love you guys and love you forever Kay!

I remember Aunt Kay as a sweet southern woman. She opened her heart and arms to me. She didn't need to say a lot of words to let me know she believed in me. I remember her telling me I was smart. I didn't feel intelligent at the time, and didn't have a lot of encouragement from a mother figure, so those words stuck with me throughout my life. She showed her love for me by opening her home and allowing me to stay there. Thank you Aunt Kay.  ❤️
