"She sparkled and her joyful heart was full of love." Whenever Mimi's family and friends remember her, they will talk about her "loving spirit" and her "kindness to everyone" and the great joy she took in celebrating the simple pleasures of life with her beloved children and grandchildren.
Whether she was splashing in the pool with them or racing down the beach in a golf cart, Mimi lived every moment to the max. Her bright spirit was evident to all who knew her, and her zest for life was present in everything she did.
Mimi enjoyed a successful business career as an Executive Construction Assistant and later as the owner of Boomers Construction Company. She was an enthusiastic and energetic distance walker who adored the beach where she walked 5 or 6 miles every morning. She enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities including boating and fishing and recently added golfing with her friends. Mimi was an avid reader, traveler and sports enthusiast. She was a lifelong supporter of FSU. Most of all Mimi loved spending time with her family boating and fishing. When the children were young they would gather at their pool to spend time together.
Later she loved to zip along the beach in her golf cart, often with delighted friends and family especially with her grandchildren at her side.
Mimi will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother and adoring grandmother, a compassionate sister and a loyal friend. Full of energy and full of love, "her laughter was contagious" according to those who knew her best. She was loved deeply and will be missed by all. Her bright spirit will live on and will be present whenever her children or grandchildren or siblings or friends smile happily with the warm memory of their sweet Mimi, whose life was such a wonderful gift to all.
