Marty was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Helen (z”l) and Isadore (z”l) Jaron. He is survived by his devoted wife of 35-years Melanie, and daughter Adina, sons James and David, granddaughters Kaleigh, Ariella, Rachel, Michelle and Danielle. His beloved sister Linda and brother-in-law Jay Dektor live in New York.
Marty was a graphic artist and creative director who won numerous awards in New York, Miami, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. His photography and art demonstrated his ability to find beauty in everything around him. He loved fishing and served as Hillel at FSU’s chief volunteer being especially instrumental in the design, construction and financing of their new building.
Family and friends will miss his warmth, humor, and outgoing nature. Fish feared his name. No fish in any ocean will mourn.
During this time of Covid, the family will hold a modified “walk thru with masks and social distancing” shiva visitation on the patio of their home, Sunday evening, August 9 from 7-9pm . No food, please. The family will hold a private memorial service after Covid.
