Luray T. Rudd Sr.

He retired from the City of Tallahassee Streets and Drainage Department and then devoted his love and attention to his wife Thelma Rudd who passed away in October of 2010. Big Ray was reunited in Heaven with the love of his life on what would have been their 65th wedding anniversary.

He is survived by his children Ray Jr., Linda “Missy” Rudd, Cindy Rudd, Dee Dee Rudd, grandchildren Lance Rudd (Diane), Tiffany Justham (Craig), Haley Watson, sister Wanda Sue Newberry, several nieces and nephews along with his church family.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Braden Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately after the services at the home of Tiffany and Craig Justham. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Life Baptist Church, 3625 Woodville Hwy, Tallahassee, Fl 32305.

Big Ray was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Rudd, his parents Trammel and Bernice Rudd.
