Loyce Clay Winkler

Loyce worked 25 years in with DHSMV, Credit Union and then embarked on her own rental management property in Panama City Beach. From there she returned to Tallahassee where she spent her remaining years. Loyce was a past state wide president of Epsilon Sigma Alpha and a lifetime member doing philanthropic work for St. Jude's Hospital. Loyce also enjoyed watching and traveling to FSU football games.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Howard Winkler; daughter, Melanie Peck; and grandson, Mathis Lewis.

Loyce is survived by her daughter, Teresa Dowdy (Richard); grandchildren: Kristin Anderson (Jeff) and Jennifer Lewis (Jason) of Tallahassee, and Samantha and Nicole of Arizona; as well as her great grandchildren, Elyse Anderson, Chance Anderson, Lyla Anderson, Samuel Lewis, all of Tallahassee, and Maverick of Arizona.

A funeral service for Loyce will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32308. Following the funeral service will be an interment at Roselawn Cemetery, 804 Piedmont Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32312.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
