Larry Micheal Hall was born in Wichita, KS, December 24, 1937. He graduated in 1960 from Wichita University and was proud to serve his country in the Army Reserve from 1960-1968. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Kay Hall and they were married 57 years. His parents, JR and Nila Hall, and brother, Charles, preceded him in death. Larry was a man of integrity and he had a successful career with General Motors, Chevrolet Division from 1961-1999, retiring as a Regional Manager in Atlanta, GA. His achievements at Chevrolet included developing the Dealer Communications System in the 1970’s that is still in use today. When he retired in Atlanta, he was responsible to almost 500 Chevrolet dealers. His passion was golf where you could find him frequently. He was active in church, most recently Bradfordville First Baptist Church. He served as the Deacon Chairman and Chaired the Building committee for the new sanctuary from 2003-2006. His generosity included support of several charitable organizations through volunteering and contributions.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael Hall of Tallahassee, and Terrie Lynn Thaler and husband, Eric, of Denver, Colorado. He has three grandsons, and three great grandchildren. His legacy of character and integrity was a gift he passed along to all of us.
A time of greeting and fellowship will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Bradfordville First Baptist Church, 6494 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32312. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
