Larry Rogers Davis

Larry Davis passed away on July 13th, 2024 in Tallahassee, FL after a brief illness. Larry grew up in Port St. Joe, FL and was the star quarterback for Port St Joe High School during his high school years. He was an avid golfer and was a member at Killearn Country Club for many years. He was passionate about golf and enjoyed his time on the golf course with his son and his many golf buddies.

He is survived by a son, Ryan Davis of Panama City Beach, FL; three grandchildren that he absolutely adored, Zachary, Reese, and Kyle Davis of Panama City Beach FL; a soulmate and angel on earth of over 20 years, Carole Beckham of Tallahassee FL; and numerous first and second cousins. Larry also leaves behind Lucy, a beloved rescue dog who brought him so much joy and happiness.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Daniel of Port St. Joe, FL; uncles, Blake Thomason of Apalachicola, FL and Coy Thomason of Crestview, FL; an aunt, Marie Laney of Chipley, FL and a cousin, Joan Cavato of Winter Park, FL.

Out of respect for his final wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Larry Davis at St. Joseph Bay Humane Society, 1007 10th St., Port St. Joe, FL 32456.
