He was born in West Palm Beach, FL, graduated from Pahokee High School and received his BA degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He served in the US Army and had a successful career in accounting in both the public and private sectors. He was the Inspector General for the Florida Department of State and held professional certifications in Management Accounting, Internal Auditing, and Government Accounting. Kirby enjoyed flying and held commercial pilot’s and instructor’s license. He also served as a Deacon at the Centerville Road Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents W. Graham and Letha Mole.
He is survived by his wife Verlon Mole of Tallahassee, his two sons Jonathan Mole (CPT, US Army) and Andrew Mole both of Tallahassee, his brother Wallace Mole (and wife Nancy) of Auburn, AL, three nephews, and two nieces.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 22, 2010 at 12:00 O’clock noon at Culley’s MeadowWood Timberlane Chapel with visitation beginning at 10:30 am at the Chapel.Burial will follow at MeadowWood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to be made to: The Moffitt Cancer Center 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, Fl 33612.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
