Louise had a life long love for fashion. She began her fashion career with Nic's Toggery in 1966. Lousie worked the majority of her career with her beloved Gayfers. She retired from Dillards in 2012 at the age of 90. She was a people person through and through. Her clients and fellow employees became her adopted family members who she would dress to the nine. Her greatest pleasure was giving and "more was ALWAYS better". Monday nights were family night dinners at her house. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Karen Love and husband Mike, who was more of a son than a son-in-law, her son Craig Hornsby (Colby). Grandchildren, Bryan Love (Tracy), Ashley Rathman (Dennis), Carrie Ana Cardenas, Cameron Hornsby, and "Bud" Hornsby. Her Great-grandchildren, Jay Phillips, Spencer Rathman, Tyler Phillips, Hunter Phillips, Avery Love, Calum Cassel, and Darbie Canon.
A special thanks to the staff at Broadview Assisted Living Facility for their loving care.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 8th from 5pm to 7pm at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home on Timberlane Road.
