Julie Elizabeth Hammack Madden

Julie was born on March 19th, 1952 in Beverly, Massachusetts to Julian and Marinel Hammack.

A naturalized Floridian from an early age, she attended Florida State University,

where she met and married her best friend and devoted, loving husband, Edward J. Madden.

Together they spent nearly 40 years travelling the world in service of their country in the United States Air Force

while raising a beautiful family of three children: Christopher, Jeffrey, and Allison.

They returned to Tallahassee to spend time with their beloved grandsons, Sebastian, Austin, and Oliver, and their spoiled dog, Harley-Girl.

Julie is survived by her husband, Edward; her children, Christopher, Jeffrey, and Allison;

her grandchildren, Sebastian, Austin, and Oliver; her mother, Marinel; and her brothers, Neil and Julian (Jay).

She is predeceased by her father, Julian Carroll Hammack, Jr (Bud);brother, Richard; and her niece, Kayleigh.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 2nd, 2014 from 5 to 7pm followed by a celebration of her life from 7 to 8pm at

Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, FL (Riggins Road location).

Funeral service and burial will be held in a private ceremony.
