Josephine was born February 5, 1916, in Jesup , GA, to Arch and Lovie Roberson and moved to Tallahassee in 1983. She is a retired public school food service worker and was also a member of Morningside Baptist and WMU Ladies Aux. Josephine was also a wonderful mother and homemaker who loved sewing and working in her flower garden. Josephine was the Sunshine of our home.
She is survived by her son, Russell (Betty) Hurst of Tallahassee; her daughters, Anna Wynnell Mullen and Donna (Ron) Howell all of Odum, GA; her niece, Glenda (Larry) Rowell of Jesup, GA; her nephew, Ray (Kay) Wells of Snellville, GA; her nine grandchildren and a lot of wonderful great grandchildren and one great great-grandson and one great great-granddaughter.
Visitation will take place Tuesday from 1- 2 pm at the Morningside Baptist Church where funeral services will be held that day at 2pm. Interment will take place in Culley's Meadowwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Josephine’s honor to Morningside Baptist Church, 1560 Pedrick Rd., Tallahassee, FL 32317
