Jose Manuel “Peps” Paredes Saenz, 37, son of Carlos Manuel Paredes and Carmen (Paty) Saenz Paredes, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022, at his home in Tallahassee, FL. He is survived by his parents and his sisters, Carmen Paredes-Vilardo and Maria Oliver.
Born in Quito, Ecuador, Jose and his family moved to the United States when he was 2 years old, seeking the best medical care to treat his congenital heart defect.
He was a gentle soul with an incredibly strong will to live. Thanks to modern medical advances along with the care, love, and encouragement that he received from his parents, he was able to defy all odds. He inspired friends and family to appreciate the little things, and to be thankful for each day’s blessings. He will be greatly missed.
A Mass will be held in his honor Tuesday, September 27th at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 11:00 A.M. The wake will be held at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home at 6 P.M. at 700 Timberlane Rd, on the same day.
