John William Stafford

John William Stafford, 19, of Crawfordville died Wednesday (5/10) at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. John was born in Tallahassee and had lived in the Crawfordville area all his life. He was a graduate of Wakulla High School and had been involved in ROTC while a student there. He has attended the Lively Vocational Welding School and was a member of Lake Ellen Baptist Church, and also attended The First Baptist Church of Wakulla Station. He liked everyone and was always doing his best to help and please. He loved animals, especially his dog – Capone, and also liked the outdoors especially the beach.

Survivors include his parents: Bobby, Jr and Mary Anne; sister: Victoria “Torie” of Crawfordville; paternal grandparents: Bobby Sr. and Mable of Crawfordville; maternal grandparents: Charles, Sr. and Ann Lacombe of Woodville; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the Lake Ellen Baptist Church and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday (5/16) at 11:00 AM also in the Lake Ellen Baptist Church.
