John "Kevin" Ozbolt, 40 of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away after a tragic automobile accident in Minot, North Dakota, May 19, 2013.
Kevin was born June 8, 1972, the son of Nina J. McLeod and the late Johnny Ozbolt. Kevin was raised and lived in Tallahassee for 38 years and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1991. He earned a BA degree from Florida State University. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, Seminole and loved his Labrador, Ruger.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Nina Joyner McLeod; step father, Roy McLeod; one step sister, Michele Toomer (Curtis); one niece, Whitney Toomer; and nephew, Joshua Toome; his grandmother, Rosa Lee Joyner; and his great grandmother, Mattie Lee Joyner; two aunts, Shirley Ozbolt Krause (Mark) and Ann Joyner Hatcher; two uncles, Mike Joyner (Diane)and Doug Joyner; and numerous cousins.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Ozbolt; paternal grandparents, Merle Ozbolt and Velim Ozbolt; and maternal grandfather, Dick Joyner.
Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25th followed by a Celebration Of His Life at 12:00 p.m. at Culley's Meadowwood Chapel, 700 Timberlane Road. Interment will follow at Culley's Meadowwood Memorial Park.
Dr. Bill Jenkins, Pastor, of Sopchoppy Southern Baptist Church and Reverend Maurice Langston, Pastor of the Cowboy Church in Wakulla County, will offer Spiritual Presentations.
