Wesley was such a sweet, tenderhearted boy. He loved playing video games, especially Minecraft, going on camping trips, kayaking, fishing, building legos, going to the beach, children’s museums, grandkids night at his Nana and Grandaddy’s, playing on his Laly’s phone in her window nook, eating his Grumpy’s french toast, his momma’s ritz cracker casserole, driving his daddy’s lawn mower, having grapes at his Nonie and Opa’s, ziplining at his great uncle's house, playing with(irritating) his sister Savannah and making his baby sister Ansley smile. He loved the Lord and would belt out praise and worship songs in the back of the car. He had many close cousins and friends that he loved playing with whether in person or online. He wanted to be the next minecraft youtuber, own a lawn care business, and be a firefighter.
He fought a long, hard battle with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor. He went into remission on August 11, 2023 but more cancer was discovered in his brain on November 11, 2023 and he passed 8 days later. Anyone who met him would have never guessed the hard battle he was fighting on the inside. He was always a fun loving kid who overcame so many obstacles. Though we miss him dearly and wish he were here with us, we know he is fully healed and in the loving arms of Jesus now.
