Joe Anne Smith-Land, 62, of Tallahassee died Sunday (7/2) at Big Bend Hospice House. A native of Tallahassee, she has lived here her whole life. Joe Anne was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and enjoyed her time with her family.
Preceded in death by her parents: Walter B. & Virginia Smith; she is survived by her daughters: Rachel Spencer and Heather Gomez both of Tallahassee; sister: Priscilla Smith-McDearmid of Havana, Angel Smith-Chester of Ormond Beach, Robin Smith-Eason of Tallahassee; grandson: Wylie Benjamin Spencer and granddaughter: Lillian Milberg.
The family plans a Celebration of Joe Anne’s life at a later date which will be held at Priscilla’s home in Havana.
