James S. Rowell

Rowell, James S. 74, of Tallahassee, FL passed away on July 26, 2015. Mr. Rowell worked for the Florida Department of Highway Safety Motor Vehicles for 42 years, was a Gideon for 33 years, a member of North Florida Baptist Church for 43 years and was a proud United States Air Force Veteran. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Robin Janelle Rowell; Father, Eugene J. Rowell; Mother, Ellen Rowell; Sisters, Eunice Rowell Wood, Bernice Rowell Knights, Wilma Rowell Tedder, and brother; AY Rowell.

Survived by his beloved wife Nancy Chairmont Rowell; Loving son, James Audie (Cheri) Rowell; Cherished grandchildren, Christina (Chase) Rowell-DiMartino, Victoria Louise Rowell, Brandon James Rowell, Christian Caleb Rowell, as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins. A visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home . Funeral services will be held 11AM on Thursday, July 30, 2015 also at the Funeral Home.
