Glenn Franklyn Bostic

Pastor Glenn Franklyn Bostic, was the beloved Senior Pastor of New Hope New Faith Ministries, Inc., Tallahassee, Florida.

He was ordained as a pastor under Fellowship Church of Praise Network of Covenant Churches and Ministries; Overseers, Drs. David and Vernette Rosier. He also served as the School Financial Accountant at Griffin Middle School in Tallahassee, Florida. Additionally, Mr. Bostic had an extensive and all encompassing employment history in the banking and finance industry.

He peacefully transitioned into eternal rest Thursday, January 3, 2013.

He was born January 2, 1955, in Orlando, Florida to the late Alice M. Brinson and was reared by his grandmother, the late Mamie Kate Williams Bostic. He was a graduate of Jones High School, Orlando, Florida and Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida. He was a renowned psalmist whose musical gift touched the hearts of many. This dynamic man of God and gifted orator had a unique skill to command God's Word for the empowerment of his audiences so that they may know that "You are not alone," and that "God is concerned about the total man."

Those who will cherish his fond and precious memories are his loving and devoted wife of 33 years and Co-Pastor in the ministry, Deborah Bostic; one son, Bruce McElroy of Orlando, Florida; brothers, Christopher Yarbrough and Barratte Brinson; sisters, Gwenever Patricia Yarbrough-Benchan and Shawana Turner, all of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Gerald (Doris) Cannady, Sr., Evers M. Hampton, Jr., and Evers Greene, all of Jacksonville, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, god-children, and other loving relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing at Culley's Meadow Wood, 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee, Florida on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6pm - 8pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Christian Heritage Church, 2820 Sharer Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312. Interment will follow at Culley's Meadow Wood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to New Hope New Faith Ministries, Inc. at 3559 Timberlane School Road, Tallahassee, Florida, 32312.
