Gary Leland Kelley

He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge and Lorraine T. Kelley, a brother, Victor Kelley and a son, Jesse Kelley.

The family will receive friends during visitation on Thursday October 7 at Culley’s Riggins Road Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Graveside services will be held on Friday October 8th. at Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery 8459 Blountstown Hwy at 2:00 pm.

Gary was born in Jacksonville, Fl, August 31, 1949. The family moved to Tallahassee in 1952 where he resided until 2004 when he moved to the Magnolia House Assisted Living Facility in Quincy, Fl. He served in the Army during the Viet Nam War and after he was discharged he was employed by the City of Tallahassee Electrical Department until he retired. He had also been an Auxiliary Highway Patrolman.

He is survived by two brothers, Terry (Laura) Kelley of Cairo, Ga., Dean (Kaye) Kelley of Whigham, Ga., a sister Kay K. (Bill) Fuller of Tallahassee and one son, David L. Kelley and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Magnolia House in Quincy or to the Big Bend Hospice House, Tallahassee.

Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
