Born in Indiana, Pennsylvania on September 1, 1929, Lee graduated from Tressler Orphanage Home, and later graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Political Science. In 1953, he married Eleanor M. Langlois who preceded him in death, and later wed Bettye Bowen in 2000. He was a Personnel Director for the State of Florida before retiring. Lee was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and had a passion for Gator football, animals, poker, and above all God, church and family.
Lee is survived by his children, Franz Dorn, Lief Dorn, Rolfe Dorn and Liane Rouse, and his grandchildren, Gary Rouse, Corey Rouse, Erika Dorn, Travis Dorn, Dillon Dorn, Russell Rouse, Alex Dorn and Alaine Dorn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha Yuckenberg and Floyd K. Dorn, and two sisters, Louise Rowles and Marie Williams.
A Mass will be held at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on November 5, 2018, with interment to follow at noon at Tallahassee National Cemetery.
