Donald William Reeves

Born October 25, 1929 in Tallahassee, Florida he was the son of Mahoney and Bertha Reeves.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mahoney and Bertha of Tallahassee, his Brothers Melvin, Malcolm, Murray, and Jerry all originally from Tallahassee, his granddaughter Doniece of Tallahassee, and his beloved wife of 51 years until 10 weeks ago, Nancy Reeves, originally from Springfield, Ohio.

He is survived by his youngest brother Kent and his wife Martie of Tallahassee, Florida, three daughters, Linda of Tallahassee, Florida, Victoria of Havana, Florida, and Patricia Roberts and her husband James of Wacissa, Florida; three sons, David Channell and his wife Brenda of Hillsborough, North Carolina, Donald Jr and his wife Christian of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Douglas and his wife Summer of Tallahassee, Florida; eight grandchildren, Donna, Glenna, Jessica, Thomas, Amanda, Charles, Rysleigh, and Donald III; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery at 5875 New Hope Church Rd, Tallahassee, Florida, on May 1, 2021 at 11 am. Arrangements are being handled by Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home.
