David Lynn Farmer, 69, of Maryville TN went to be with the Lord on Oct. 27, 2018. He was the son of the late Henry and Kathleen Farmer. He is survived by his wife, Verna; son, Tony; grand -daughters Tamaran (Rigby) and Emma; sister, Henrietta (Jenkins); brother, Gary ; stepson, Jason Linton; and numerous nieces and nephews. David was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time traveling and fishing throughout the southeastern United States. Though he lived the last part of his life in Florida, David always enjoyed coming home to The Smoky Mountains during the Fall to enjoy the brilliant colors and scenery. He will be missed as a husband, father, and grandfather. A service will be held at 1PM on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home (1737 Riggins Road). Burial is to follow at Oakland Cemetery (838 North bronough Street).
