Darlyn is by far the best mother in law that a girl could have only hoped for, yet through my marriage, to her Step -Son, William, Bill Hall, son of F. Reed Hall, I was blessed with having this beautiful hearted mother in law, in our lives, for 20+ years!  There are way too many memories to recant however, we have plenty of pictures chronicling our lives together!  Although we were living far apart, our heart's were always connected since we met on DAY ONE!  Darlyns Death, surely saddened my heart, to this day!  I cannot believe that I will never be able to talk to my Momma, ever again!  Nor hug her, shop with her, camp with her, bake and cook with her or even sew with her!  Darlyn will live on in our hearts, FOREVER, until we see her on the other side!  Momma, myself and Bill, love you too the moon and back!  We promise, if permitted, that we will do our best to help take care of your high school sweetheart, your soul mate, Reed, who later became your second husband!  We both will carry everlasting love in our hearts for you!  And, will always, count our blessing to have had this opportunity to have the best Mom, and Mother in law, that a Son and daughter in law could have only dreamed of having!  We will cherish our everlasting love in our hearts, for YOU, forever!💞💕💞💕💞💕💞💕💞💕💞💕💞💕

Darlyn and I were neighbors and close friends in high school. I remember the baton classes we took together.  I also remember George telling  us it we put lemon on our hair and set in the sun it would turn blonde. So needless to say we spent alot of time on the dock behind her house with wet hair. She was very special.

Darlyn  was one of sweetest people I have ever met. She was so kind and always smiling.  The memories I will have of her is that she loved taking pictures, baking and  cherished her family.  May she Rest In Peace. 

Darlyn is my childhood friend.  It began in the 6th grade at Carrabelle High School(Small town, small school, Grades 1 thru 12 in one building). Great Memories! She was a Star! I was just glad she let me hang around with her. We were young, innocent, and excited about growing up. 

One of my favorite memories from that time, is our walks after school. We would walk from school to the Drugstore where her Mama, Aunt Madeline, worked.  We would sing the Everly Brothers' song, 'All I Have To Do Is Dream' all the way there. Next we would go over to see her Daddy, Uncle George, at the Post Office.  Then we would head back to her Grandma's, MamMaw; singing the Everly Brothers' song, 'Bye Bye Love'.  All singing was in complete harmony, of course!

In the years since then, we did a lot of "Dreaming" and "Loving".  We both were blessed with wonderful spouses, children and grandchildren. We both knew all these blessings came from GOD and we gave Him thanks daily. 

Now I have to sing 'Bye Bye Love' solo.
