Daniel Lee Littlefield

Daniel Lee Littlefield, 23 years old and a life-long resident of Tallahassee, died in a car accident Saturday, February 1, 2014. Danny was born April 12, 1990 to Alex and Andrea Littlefield, III in Tallahassee. Danny is a graduate of Lincoln High School Class of ’09 and was an avid outdoorsman who loved Alabama football, hunting, canoeing, St George Island and especially time with his family. Danny loved carpentry, creating pieces his family will treasure forever. He was a champion for life, enjoying and appreciating every moment always with a smile on his face. Danny was a happy person who was comfortable with himself. He became very close to God and was guided by his faith. Danny loved animals so much so, that he rescued three dogs with a lifetime goal to start his own rescue organization with his sister Jessie. At 16, Danny started working for his father’s company, General Lee's Painters. Throughout the years, he learned so much that he was slated to be the leader, following in his dad’s footsteps, to take over the company someday.

Danny is survived by his parents, Alex and Andrea Littlefield, III of Tallahassee; his sister, Jessica Littlefield, student at University of Alabama, his brothers, Sam Littlefield, Scott Kausch and Alex Littlefield IV, (wife Audrey) all of Tallahassee; his paternal grandfather, Alex Littlefield, Jr. of Tallahassee; his maternal grandmother, Lucy Bonney of Tallahassee; his aunts and uncles, Steve Littlefield, Bette Bonney, Teri Littlefield-Simpson & Greg Simpson and Gerry & Tim Phipps all of Tallahassee and Jeffrey Littlefield (Donna) of Jacksonville; Sandra Coffin and Clark Bonney of Maine, Robert Bonney of Tampa, Florida, Bruce Bonney of Las Vegas, Nevada, his cousins, Ryan & Melanie Simpson and Eric & Ellie Phipps, all of Tallahassee, Nathan Littlefield & Kathy Littlefield Harper of Jacksonville; his nieces and nephews, Makayla & Blake Littlefield and Samuel & Sadie Littlefield all of Tallahassee and his best buddies, his dogs: Sugar, Bear and Athena.

Friends will be received for visitation 6:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, February 5th at Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 6th at 11:00am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, reception immediately following in the Church Parish Hall. Interment will take place at Culley’s Meadowwood Memorial Park, Timberlane Rd., Tallahassee.
