Tallahassee, Florida after a short illness.
Chris was a graduate of Lincoln High and Florida State University,
Tallahassee Florida. While attending Florida State, Chris worked as a
certified Scuba Instructor at Coral Reef Scuba. After graduation from
Florida State Chris joined the New Orleans Police Department where he
became both a Narcotic and Homicide Detective. Leaving the department
in 2006 after Katrina, Chris went into the Lighting manufacturer
representative world. Chris worked for Seagull Lighting, Generations
Brand and Kichler Lighting before opening his own company Canopy Roads
Sales LLC working with Richard Alan & Associates.
Chris was a member of Sigma Pi at Florida State University. He was a
member of the Bunnell Masonic Lodge 200 and the Knights Templar.
Chris was always very adventurous. He loved scuba diving, fly fishing
and shooting skeet with his friends. Chris loved to drive the rugged
mountain trails of Western Colorado in his jeep as well as on his
motorcycle. Most of all, he loved just spending time with his Aussie
furbabies.
Chris is survived by his parents Bill and Diane Martin; uncle, John
Marsula and cousins, Rachael Mozier, Alex Marsula and Christy Martin.
