Charles was truly a member of the "old school".   A good person who treated everyone with equal respect and ran his business well.  Rest in peace, Charles.  Our prayers and thoughts go out to your family in their loss.

I was just talking about you when I recieved that call. i have the memories that i was old enough to recall on my own then i have the ones i was often told about althrough the years from when i was a baby. Mr. Salter will be missed by his neighbors as we have already missed him during his illness.  He was a respected businessman in our community with a generous smile and sliver hair.

This is Dan Bardin from Pace, Fl.  Charles and I were big buddies for years.  We sang in a little quartet , double dated and he was my best man at my first marriage.  I remember in our youth we drove all the way up to the Grand Ole Opry and back in one day, boy, those were the days.  I currently am very ill myself and probably only have a few weeks to live myself.  See ya soon buddy!
