Carol Ann Zimmerman

Carol Ann Zimmerman, age 75, passed away at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital on April 5, 2019 due to a long illness and diabetes complications. She was born October 18, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 1977.

Carol was a private person who loved to work in her garden. She excelled at growing many different plants but especially Hydrangeas. She always enjoyed the holidays, whether it was decorating her house for Christmas and Halloween or baking cookies, cooking Italian gnocchi, or Thanksgiving turkey. She especially enjoyed hiding Easter eggs for her grandchildren. She was a fan of the Philadelphia Sports teams and was so happy her beloved Eagles won the Super Bowl.

Carol is survived by her sons George R. Zimmerman (Sarah) and Joey Zimmerman, sisters Sandy Cavarocchi and Joan Cavarocchi, and three grandchildren: Drew Zimmerman, Nathan Zimmerman, and David Zimmerman. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

She is preceded in death by her father James Cavarocchi, mother Bonnie Cavarocchi, sister Jane Cavarocchi, and brother Joseph Cavarocchi.

A small service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
