Mark was born on August 26, 1936, in Gainesville, Florida, where he graduated from Gainesville High School. He pursued his passion for finance at the University of Miami, earning a bachelor's degree before moving to Tallahassee to begin a successful career as a stockbroker, a role he embraced for over 45 years.
Throughout his life, Mark was an active member of numerous organizations, including serving as President of the Shrine Club, a devoted 55-year member of the Masonic Lodge, and participant in the Economics Club and Kiwanis Club.
In August 1966, Mark married the love of his life, Marguerite Crutchfield. Together, they enjoyed a rich life filled with travel and a shared passion for collecting antiques. As a devoted father, Mark was actively involved in his children's activities, and upon retirement, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.
Mark was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marguerite; his father, Robbie Robinton; his mother, Lucille Robinton; his brother, Walter Robinton; and his granddaughter, Jennifer Daniels.
He is survived by his sons, Mike Kennedy and Charles Robinton III (Roxanne); his daughter, Sharon Bieber; his grandchildren, Cheryl Enlow (Jared), Riley, Maggie, Charlie, and Chase; his great-grandsons, Nic Daniels, Austin Enlow and Colby Enlow; and his sister-in-law, Frances Ellis.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at the Villas of Killearn Lakes and Big Bend Hospice for their loving and gentle care during Mark's final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, September 24, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Culley’s on Timberlane. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at 11 AM at Culley’s MeadowWood Chapel, with a reception to follow.
Grandad’s warmth, wisdom, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
