Brian was a quiet man. Although, once he became your friend, there was always much to discuss regarding the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, FSU athletics, his love for Publix and lottery scratch off tickets.
Brian has made many friends over the years, but most recently while working at Roberts Elementary School, these friendships turned into “family”. The Red Fox Family adored Brian and enjoyed his imaginative stories, his willingness to listen, his agreeability and his laugh.
Brian had a heart of gold. He loved all people and was always asking about others; and genuinely took interest in the lives of his friends, and their families.
Brian took pride in his responsibilities at Roberts Elementary, but more than anything he took pride in the relationships he developed with the students over the years. Brian knew who did want certain items on their lunch tray, he remembered their birthdays, he would read with children that needed literary support, and he would visit with children at lunch who needed a friend that day. The students were the driving force behind Brian’s motivation at work.
Brian was a fierce believer in his relationship with the Lord; he ascended with an unburdened soul. There will most definitely be a void for those of us left behind, but in his spirit let us continue to live by his steadfast positivity and optimism.
Brian is preceded in death by his father Gordon Herbert Campbell, his mother Betty Ann Johnson Campbell, and his sister Lauren. Brian was blessed with many aunts and uncles, but his sole surviving aunt is Ms. Dorothy Klap of Lutz, FL.
A Service of Memory will be held in Brian's honor at 11 AM, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 4665 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32309.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Hang Tough Foundation or to the Trent's Touch Foundation in Brian's honor.
