Bobbie Reddick Riggins

Bobbie Pearl Reddick Riggins (née West), 93, of Tallahassee, passed away on August 11. She now joins in heaven her parents, William Robert West and Pearl Hilburn West; her loving husband of 36 years, Walter Franklin Reddick; her husband of 13 years, Stutts Ray Riggins; and siblings Inez Grubbs, J.C. West, Essie Sheffield, Robert West, Esther Godwin, Marie Youngblood, and Edwin West.

Bobbie was born on June 5, 1928, on her family’s farm in Damascus, Georgia. In 1945, she moved to Tallahassee, Florida, where she met and subsequently married her beloved, Frank Reddick. She was widowed in 1985 when Frank passed suddenly at age 61. After several years she remarried Stutts Riggins and they enjoyed many years together and were fortunate to travel a great deal of the country.

Bobbie spent her early career at Rose Printing Company before working and retiring from the Credit Bureau of Tallahassee after 25 years. She was a member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church where she loved to sing with the Senior Choir and participate in her Sunday School Class.

Bobbie was loved by all that knew her. She dearly loved her family and they were a great source of pride. Cherishing her memory are her four daughters: Brenda Ferris, Barbara Smith (Rick), Beverley Crum (Donnie), Becky Trawick (Mike); grandchildren: Scott Ferris, Joe Ferris (Christie), Beth Kurnat, Steve Smith (Andy), Bill Smith (Mandy), Don Crum (Amber), Shannon Boldt (Rosie), Lance Trawick (Leah), Luke Trawick, Victoria Trawick, Mikayla Trawick; great-grandchildren Nick, Alec, Emily, Delaney, Chasen, Kaitlynn, Dylan, Brady, Alaina, Beau, Jackson, Laryn, Cohen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 12:00-1:00 PM, Sunday, August 15, at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, with the funeral beginning at 1:00 PM. Those unable to attend the services may join the livestream at https://www.facebook.com/culleysmeadowwood Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice.
