Bessie Grayson Moore

Bessie Grayson Moore, 84, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on May 18, 2012 surrounded by family.

She was born to James Thomas and Nettie V. Grayson on September 3, 1927 in Greenville, Alabama. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Peter Paul Moore; her children, Kathy Mork (Steve) of Tallahassee, FL, Lanette Williams (Mark) of Smithfield, NC, Justin Miller (Susan) of Pensacola, FL; step-children, Shari McClelland (Don), Tallahassee, FL, Patti Cline

(Jerry), Battlecreek, MI, Nancy Randolph (Dan), Lake Elsinore, CA; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Russell of Houston, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Miller, Jr. to whom she was married for 36 years; and brother, Theo Grayson.

A celebration of her life will be held on June 2, 2012 at 1:30 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Timberlane Road Chapel, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, FL. Receiving of family and friends will follow the service.

She was a sweet, witty, kind, gracious and courageous lady and will be missed deeply by her beloved husband, family, extended family and many close friends.
