Benjamin F. ( Ben) Wood Jr, 85, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, March 29th at Culley’s MeadowWood Riggins Road Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 - 6 pm Sunday in the funeral home.
Ben was owner and President of B.F. Wood Plumbing for 52 years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Beth Wood, two sons, Terry (and his wife Terry Leigh) and Scott, five grandchildren, Quincee Messersmith, Cameron Wood, Carmin Nedley, Whitnee Wood and Benjamin P. Wood, and one great grandson, Mason Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. Tallahassee, FL 32308.
