In addition to being a full-time mother, Anne enjoyed many years of business success as a realtor and later as owner of a florist shop in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. In retirement, she volunteered at the Helena Museum of Phillips County in Helena, Arkansas. Artistically talented, Anne loved creating beauty and had a passion for antiques, needlework, stained glass, gardening, and flowers.
She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was devoted to her family. Anne is survived by her brother, John M. Connaway, of Clarksdale, Mississippi; her daughter, Mary Schwantes, of Tallahassee, Florida; her son, John Pope (Paula) of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In keeping with her wishes, a private service will be held in Helena, Arkansas.
