Adele Geyer Hopwood passed away at her daughter’s home August 27, 2013. She was born March 4, 1930 in New York City and worked as a secretary as well as in the theatrical business. Adele was an avid knitter and created many designer masterpieces. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, bingo and trying her luck with the lottery.
She leaves behind, her loving daughter, Vicky Geyer Swezey and her husband, Jerry, grandson, Justin Wegrzyn and his wife Marsha, and a great grandson, Jackson Wegrzyn.
A special thanks to the staff of Covenant Hospice for their special caring for Adele during her final journey.
A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Friday, August 30, 2013 in the chapel of Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to covenant Hospice or Young Actors Theatre.
