Hoppy Norseworthy was born on April 24th, 1946 in Wichita Falls, TX, the son of William and Rita Lee (Solenburg) Norseworthy. He was raised up with three sisters and two brothers, Billy, Lorene, Ruby, Betty, and Johnny. He grew up in Lawton and it was here he developed his strong work ethic. He was honest and always gave every job his full attention and 100% of his effort. Hoppy was a man that appreciated the simple pleasures of life, the sunrise in his own yard, the company of his canine companions Brother and Indy, and the love of his family. After a day of work, he liked to catch a little NCIS, or any other crime and western show on TV. Traveling was a favorite pastime, and Hoppy never passed the chance to enjoy time spent with friends. He was immensely talented and could fix anything, from the time he was young. He never missed the chance to help anyone that needed his help. Hoppy was strong willed and loved to tease his grandkids. On June 26th 1992, he married the love of his life, Penny Elkins, and together they enjoyed life to its fullest. He watched his last sunset on December 5th, 2023 at his home in Keys, OK. He was 77 years old and leaves an empty space that will never be filled.
