Tommy Clayton Piersall was born on July 26th, 1937 in Wagoner, OK, the son of Claud and Elouise (Thompson) Piersall. He had a family of two brothers and one sister, Billy Carl, Kelly, and Roena, and was raised a country boy, just the way he liked it. Tommy was country through and through. If there was a tractor or pieces of machinery on the farm, Tommy was looking it over. He loved anything mechanical, especially farm equipment. He loved the quiet and peace of the farm, the sounds of contented farm animals and just being around his family. He liked an afternoon stroll down the lanes by the farm, sometimes stopping to share a joke or two with the neighbors along the way. Tommy was never in a bad mood, but found a reason to be happy and content every day of his life. He tried to put a smile on the face of everyone he met, he was kind and funny, and always ready to share a cup of coffee. His health began to fail him and Tommy moved into town, where he could have the help to get by the day. He loved spending time teasing the nursing staff, and anyone he could find. A Christian by faith, Tommy was called to his eternal home on January 26th, 2016 in Tahlequah, OK. He was 78 years old. He has gone home to the reunion of all his loved ones, gone on before.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Billy Carl Piersall, and his sister, Roena Piersall- Mullins.
Those left to cherish Tommy’s memory include his brother, Kelly Piersall and his wife, Judy of Nixa, MO, and his six nephews, one niece, and numerous cousins, as well as a host of friends and loved ones.
