Tim Robbins

Timothy Dewight Robbins, or Tim to his family and friends, was born March 14, 1967 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Jess and Juanita (Houston) Robbins. A lifelong member of Cherokee County, Tim grew up with five brothers and two sisters. After school, he went on to work various jobs in the area before finding a career with Cherokee Nation Water and Sanitation Department as an electrician for many years. He spent much of his free time around cars whether it was tinkering around under a car hood, out at the race car track or attending car shows. He loved the excitement of the race and to feel the thunder of cars going by. Tim had a ton of racing memorabilia and even a prized collection of Hot Wheels. He frequently visited the local flea markets and swap meets, always looking for a great deal or to work out a trade. When he wasn’t off attending gun shows and turkey shoots, he cherished time spent with his family and grandbabies. He looked forward to get to-gathers or an evening at home watching old westerns, especially the old Clint Eastwood movies. Though a bit ornery and even stubborn at times, it only added to his humor and wit, looking to bring a smile to those around him. His health began to fail and on Saturday, December 28, 2024, Tim passed from this life with family by his side in Stilwell, OK. He was 57 years old and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Juanita Robbins, four brothers, Larry Hammer, Terry Hammer, Darrell Hammer and Anthony Robbins and one sister, Vera Hammer.

He is lovingly remembered by one son, Timothy Robbins Jr. of Welling, OK, two daughters, LaBreeska Bland of Muskogee, OK and Brianna Robbins of Stilwell, OK along with one brother Darren Robbins of Hulbert, OK and one sister Diedra Robbins of Oklahoma. His legacy lives on through his five grandchildren, Adrian Duvall, Dynver Eagle, Ariel Hogan, Cassius Blue Eagle and Rowdy Fuzz and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Serving as pallbearers include Adrian Duvall, Matthew Factor, Moze Factor, Eddie Bland, Tanner Elliott and Seth Blossom. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Fowler, Richard Lucas, Audie Murphy, Jerry Girdner and Darrell Blossom.

In honor of Tim and his love for racing, guest are invited to wear their favorite racing attire at his services.
