Tamara Jean Murphy was born on October 28th, 1980, in Tahlequah, OK, and grew up in the Bunch and Dry Creek communities. The daughter of Tim and Shirley (Beaver) Murphy, she grew up with two brothers and three sisters, Jennifer, Karen, Shannon, and Mose. She attended and graduated from Tahlequah High School. She then decided to begin raising her family. She was the proud mother of two daughters and two sons, Damara, Daylan, Cadan and Caleb. She loved being a homemaker and raising her children. When she wasn’t cleaning or gardening, you could find her running around the yard with her feline companions, Church and Booger. She occasionally went to resale shops, but she preferred the view from her vegetable and flower gardens. There was nothing better than a plate of Mom’s spaghetti followed up by a game of cards or bingo. Halloween was her favorite holiday, and she was a big fan of things that went “bump in the night!” She was happy, never showing her emotions, kind hearted, giving of her time and talent to whoever needed her, a regular jokster and the best mother in the entire world. A Baptist by faith, she passed from this life on Sunday, April 16th, 2023 in Tulsa, OK, surrounded by the family that loved her. She was 42 years old and will be greatly missed.
Tamara is preceded in death by grandparents, Alex and Irene (Bunch) Beaver and Don and Geneva Ada Bolin, her mother and father, and her sister, Karen Murphy Miller.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Damara Wright of Tahlequah, Daylan Wright and companion Rhianna Nofire of Tahlequah, Caden Clinton and Caleb Clinton both of the home in Tahlequah, and her companion, Charles Clinton of the home in Tahlequah. She leaves two brothers and one sister, Jennifer Murphy of Stilwell, OK, Shannon Beaver and companion Myra Harvey of Tahlequah, OK, and Mose Murphy also of Tahlequah. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Porta Caeli Hospice House in Tulsa and Compassus Hospice for all the loving care shown Tamara.
